No one at Netflix was truly prepared for the success of Stranger Things. With little to no support behind the show, Netflix had to suddenly promote the runaway summer hit in a big way for Halloween.

We found a group of super fans in Atlanta, Georgia who couldn’t stop talking about how the show was shot there and featured Brenda Woods, a local news anchor, in a brief cameo role. Seizing the opportunity, we extended Brenda Woods’ cameo and Stranger Things fans were ecstatic that #JusticeForBarb was actually happening.
